Jordan delivered the speech on April 6, 2013 at California University of Pennsylvania. In her address, Jordan challenges writing center community members to inhabit a mindset of inquiry, saying we would transform our discipline if we asked one another questions such as, "What evidence do you have that what you think is true?" On Friday, October 11, 2013, the Northern Virginia Writing Project will be hosting its third annual secondary school writing center conference, "Transformation from the Center," at George Mason University.
