The University of Delaware Writing Center is hosting Dr. Neal Lerner on April 26, 2018 to discuss the results of The Meaningful Writing Project:

The Meaningful Writing Project: Learning, Teaching, and Writing in Higher Education

3:30-4:30 in Memorial Hall 108

Want more engaged student writers? The Meaningful Writing Project is a multi-year, multi-institutional study of what college seniors report to be their most meaningful writing projects as undergraduates. In this talk, Dr. Lerner will present the findings of this research and discuss implications for curriculum, pedagogy, and assignment design across the disciplines. Students, faculty and staff from all departments are welcome to attend.

MAWCA members are welcome to join this free lecture. Please contact Associate Writing Center Director Jen Follett at jfollett@udel.edu to RSVP. UD has a few parking areas for visitors: Perkins Garage (lot 4C), the Visitors' Center (lot 41), Trabant Parking Garage (17C), or the Center for the Arts Garage 14C). View the parking/campus map
