Cabrini University's Writing Center is seeking a full-time ELL Writing Specialist to support the growth of ELL writers and their instructors within the university community through a combination of tutoring, workshops and the provision of materials grounded in research and high impact practices. The ELL Writing Specialist will also assist the Coordinator in the Writing Center's day-to-day operations, the development of online resources for all students and the collection of data for assessment purposes. Desired candidates should have: a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in TESOL, Rhetoric and Composition or English; knowledge of Writing Center and composition theories, tutoring pedagogy and current research, especially as it relates to the needs of ELL students; experience teaching and tutoring ELL students at the college-level and in training and/or staff development.
